interest is Rust College, established in 1886 to provide
education for freed slaves, the Yellow Fever Museum and an
assortment of antebellum homes. The artistic will enjoy the Ida
B. Wells-Barnett Art Museum and the Kate Freeman Clark Art
Gallery. If you want to horse around you'll enjoy the Marshall
County Fairgrounds with an indoor arena that hosts horse shows,
rodeos, walking horse events, auctions and livestock shows.
Primary and middle schools include the
H.W. Byers Attendance Center, Holly Springs Intermediate School,
Holly Springs Primary School, Galena Elementary School and Holly
Springs Alternative School. Private primary/middle schools
include Holy Family School, Holly Springs High School and Holly
Springs Voc Tech. Area colleges and universities include Rust
College, the University of Mississippi, Northwest Mississippi
Community College and others.
